Hard Reset for Digital Signage Media Player

Resetting the Digital Signage Media Player will return it to it's default setting

If you are unable to turn ON the device and find that it is behaving erratically, you may resort to a Hard Reset.

THE HARD RESET WILL CAUSE THE DOPUBLICITY APP AND ITS RELATED DATA TO BE DELETED.
THE APP AND DATA CAN BE EASILY REINSTATED BY DOWNLOADING THE APP AND RE-REGISTERING THE LICENSE.

• Unplug power supply to the Media Player
• You will find a small Reset button on the back of the Media Player
  With the power supply disconnected - Hold the Reset button down
• Continue holding the Reset button and reconnect the power supply
• Continue holding the Reset button and press the button to start the Media Player (if required)
• You will see a green Android robot during the reset process
• Click on the Reset Device option and let the Media Player reinstall the firmware – this can take a few minutes
• The Media Player will start itself with the factory settings
