Soft Reset for Digital Signage Media Player

Resetting the Digital Signage Media Player will return it to it's default setting

If you are able to turn ON the device and find that it is behaving erratically, you may resort to a Soft Reset.

THE SOFT RESET WILL CAUSE THE DOPUBLICITY APP AND ITS RELATED DATA TO BE DELETED.
THE APP AND DATA CAN BE EASILY REINSTATED BY DOWNLOADING THE APP AND RE-REGISTERING THE LICENSE.

• Go to section where all the Apps are shown
• Click on Settings
• Click on the Backup & Reset
  
  
  
• Click on Factory data reset
  
  
  
• Click on Reset device button
• Click on Erase everything button
• The Media Player will start shutting down – do not unplug power
• You will see a green Android robot during the reset process – this can take a few minutes
• The Media Player will start itself with the factory settings

• Download and install the latest version of doPublicity App from Google Playstore
